A Mind in Prison: Bruno Manz

I have been meaning to post this book review for all for some time. I picked up a signed copy of this book a few years ago by Bruno Manz. It just so happens that he lives here in New Mexico, in Albuquerque. His book discusses his memoirs being a young boy in the Third Reich and the involvment that hsi father, the propoganda, and Nationalism had on his views toward jews, service in the military etc. It is a very well written first person account of his youth and his service in the military. It is much more centered on his psyche during these years rather than the battles that he fought in. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

It is a Brassey's 2000 publication. Title: A Mind in Prison ( The memoir of a Son and Soldier of the Third Reich) Bruno Manz.
