has any one read this? i finished it tonite and found it a VERY good read. the book details Bill Mauldins life from cradle to grave,and has many of his early cartoons as well as his later ones.
The book details his triumphs and his failures,and had me in tears at the end when a man with such a sharp mind and wit is a victim of Alzheimers and cant speak or recognize anyone

I have seen the book and plan on reading it. I actually met Bill Maudlin many years ago because he was living in Tuscon, Arizona. I had him sign one of his Willie and Joe cartoons for me.

I really enjoy watching Bill Maudlin and Audie Murphy in The Red Badge of Courage.
