"The Infantry Assault Badges" in English

As an "old" collector/enthusiast returning to the hobby after a 25-year hiatus, I have tried to educate myself with current literature in addition to reading forums such as the ones on this website. I had heard that Sascha Weber's book was a good reference on the Infantry Assault Badge, but it was previously only available in German. My high school German is a bit rusty after more than two decades, so I was glad when the translated version recently became available from Dietrich Maerz at www.ironcross1939.com. If you collect TR war badges, you may want to invest in this book. I highly recommend it for beginners and "old hats" alike.

The book is printed, bound and packed. That is the good news! The bad news is, all the packages are still sitting in China.

The printer is just finishing up the limited leather edition and I expect the whole shipment to be in Michigan in about 5 weeks.

I had some very early paid orders and for those we shipped in 7 books via FedEx form Hong Kong. However, I will start taking orders now from those who are willing to wait another 5 weeks.

I have received the very first copy of the other book "the glider pilot badge" Dietrich shows and i can assure you that i am very happy with the result.

As the author i can only say thank you towards Dietrich for l his efforts and i hope that the book will find the attention it deserves.

I also wisch the IAB book the best as i am certain that the collecting community does need such projects

Is the Flak Badge book available yet or is it on hold still?

The IAB book is on the way to the USA - all are printed. I expect to have the shipment at my house in about 14-18 days. Same for the Glider book

The Flak book is printed and went to the shipping company yesterday and the the ETA at Detroit is last week of August.
