    Hi Chris,
I love The Night Gallery and you are referring to a 10 minute short on The Night Gallery called The Devil is not Mocked. I agree that was a good one.

You forgot one of my favorites, The Night Gallery pilot episodes called The Escape Route with Richard Kiley. If you remember Kiley was a Nazi war criminal hiding out in South America and was being chased by Sam Jaffe (I believe) and Kiley sought refuge in a painting about fishing that was on display in a museum he would visit. The catch, the painting was swapped out earlier in the day with a Holocaust painting and because it was dark Kiley could not see that it was switched. The result, Kiley was trapped in a torture scene. Cool episode and cool painting.

    Regards,
    Jody

PS-here is a B&W photo from the episode The Devil is not Mocked. Note the black SS uniform and the RK with Oakleaves. I guess Dracula was doing his bit for the Allies.

Yes, the night Gallery episode with the ex-nazi escaping into a painting was an intense idea for me as a little kid...never forgot that.
But I thought he escaped into a painting of the face of Jesus in the agony of crucifixon and so took Jesus' place?

I remember this movie, for me it was really bad. The editing of the movie was eractic all the way and what about the black uniformed SS soldiers with pre-war backpacks and transitional helmets!!!!!!

There are two episodes of The Twiligth Zone in which I remember very well, the first one is about an SS camp comandat returns after the war from South America to visit his old concentration camp, only to be hunted by the last prisioner he killed before escaping.
The other is about an passenger in a cruise ship during WW2 who wake up with amnesia and a U-Boat captain hat in his room, with a very "heavy" filling that something bad is goin to happen, only to find out and see by himself that he is the U-boat captain sinking the ship, after the ship is down the history reapeats it self over and over again.

And how about Sci Fi channel "original" movie SS Doomtrooper or something similar, is sooooooooo bad I cant pass over 5 minutes on it.

A decent film actually, I must dig out a DVD from some place as I have not seen this film for years. I recommend this film if any of you have not seen it.

Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

Hello, my all time favorite B science fiction movie that just happens to have a Nazi presence is the movie ZONE TROOPERS. It came out in 1986 and features WW2 US Army soldiers lost in the country of Italy that come across a downed alien spaceship. It is well acted with very good effects. Both the Germans and the US soldiers compete for possesion of the aliens and the ship. You will not be dissapointed. Bill Bourque

                            Hellboy

                            Hello folks,
Don't forget the opening to the movie Hellboy (great flick). The SS in the film are rather cool looking and are depicted in comic book style. It is all black and leather.

                            Regards,

                              "The Keep" is No. 1

Just bought & watched "The Frozen Dead" & "The Keep". "The Frozen Dead" is good for a few laughs, but "The Keep" is the best Nazi Horror movie I've seen - one can see how future films "borrowed" from it. Esp. noteworthy is the musical score by Tangerine Dream.

                                Hi,

"Zombie Lake" was given away free with a UK movie magazine a couple of years ago, but is still available to buy in HMV stores for £10!
More recently a movie was released entitled "Dead Snow", another zombie movie; which is just about bearable to watch.
Somewhat better, the first story in "Twilight Zone - The Movie" has a good Nazi theme.

                                Best wishes,

                                John.
