Do any of the forum members have a copy of the above book by Fritz Roppelt. It is a history of Fallschirmjäger Division.3.
If anyone does have a copy within reach can they do me a huge favour. I need any reference to the following man whom I believe will be mentioned within the book.
His name is Hauptmann Heinz Fick and served with FJR9 in the Ardennes. He was killed in action on 20th January 1945 at Amel in Belgium.
He was in the Luftwaffe in 1944 but was transferred to the Fallschirmtruppe at the end of the year.
I am desparate for any info on this man. He must have been at least a Kompanieführer or on the Regiment Stab.
Can anyone please help, his son is looking for any information now his mother has died. They have not been able to find anything up to now.
