    Propoganda: Charlie and His Orchestra

    http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2005/0...e_and_his.html

This site has many of the original recordings in full length mp3 format. Some of these are classic. A few are a bit offensive, but many are rather comical. Churchill was known to llisten on Saturaday nights and got a kick out of these.

The site includes many classics like "Thanks for the Memories" and "German Submarines". For those of you who are not familiar with these, hit a google search for the info on Charlie and His Orchestra.

    Hi,
In the UK you can purchase a CD of these recordings from Tomahawk. Although not the full back catalogue of these artists I beleive this is a representative selection of their music.
All sound a little "dated" now except the wonderful "Blackout Blues" which is very good!

    Best regards,

    John.

        Swing Tanzen Verboten

I just bought a set of CDs along these lines from EdwardRHamilton.com. The price was cheap too - about $9.95 I think. The Edward R Hamilton catalogs are a good source for a lot of militaria books, including my favorite - "German War Booty".
