English Translation of French Review Needed- Please!

I got the magazin "Arma Militaria" in the mail today and inside is a review of my book. Unfortunately I have not enough understanding oft he french language to get the content. Could somebody with that particular knowledge give me a clue what they think?

    Thanks so much!

Using my schoolboy French I cannot translate it word for word but:

    They like it

        Just a very brief translation:
Recognised Specialist, D Maerz is proposing us a must have book about the delicat subject of Knights crosses. Thanks to remarquable iconographie (irriprochable color photos) and detailed text, the author is doing an almost complete study of the knights cross. His approache is both scientifical and historical, using his large knowleadge, and his remarquable collectors experience. First chapter explains in details how the medal is made, the procedure for it to be attributed, etc. (then there is a bunch of explanations of what is in the book, things you already know)
To resume, a pure jewel indispensable for all those interested in this medal.

Thanks a lot for your help. There is something with the french language ....

Why is it that "specialiste reconnu" somehow just sound better than 'expert" (which is already an insult in the english language ...)

But I don't want to be both. However, I admit that positive reviews are a nice thing!
