    WWII Movie in Taunton Ma.

    Driving thru Tauton Ma.on the way to a job site,was stopped in traffic and passing before my car were a group of SS soldiers,anyone know of a movie being filmed there.Will be there again all week will check it out but wanted a heads up.

    Found out about the movie its directed by Martin Scorsese its called Ashecliffe,and the mill building is being used for the concentration camp.

      Did a little research and found this for the movie "Aschecliffe" I'm not really sure what SS soldiers have to do with it, but it will be something to watch for:

      "Martin Scorsese's mystery drama "Shutter Island" has changed its name to "Ashecliffe" reports The Boston Herald.

      'Shutter Island' is the name of the 2003 Dennis Lehane novel on which the film is based, whilst 'Ashecliffe' is the name of the asylum located on the fictional island off Boston harbor. No word as to why the title was changed.

      Set in 1954, the story follows two U.S. Marshals investigating the disappearance of a serial killer patient. Searching the island as a hurricane bears down on them, they find that the hospital has practiced sinister measures during its existence.

      Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Williams, Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson star. Sylvester Stallone was previously rumoured to star but is no longer involved. A 2009 release is targeted."
