I just got the new (Schiffer Publications, 2007) book on the Uniforms of the NSDAP...pretty good book with decent examples of uniforms (Reich, Gau, Kreis level) and history..including several photographs of uniforms owned by our colleague Bob Coleman!

It was authored by our own Jeff Clark, moderator of the Political forum here on WAF.

Many of the uniforms, including the exceedingly rare white, summer, Double-breasted Political Leader tunic featured on the cover are out of his personal collection.

His work combines all of the relevant parts of the original NSDAP Organization Books as well as the Angolia books with new material, and helps decipher the sometimes confusing area of Political Leaders in Nazi Germany.
A must have for all serious historians of the 3rd Reich, regardless of your chosen focus of collecting.

I got it brand-new on discount from Hamilton Books in New York for about $59 or so bucks delivered...

and, I got it even though I collect Heer and SS combat stuff..I just thought it would be good to learn about the political stuff!

Even if I bought it from Hamilton, shipping cost will kill the discount
I'll wait and see if I get a good deal later

Yes, the shipping to Europe would be pricey...esp. for such a large format heavy book, but at least the Euro is STRONG so the price for the book won't be too bad!
