Yes I have it. It is like all Heimdal Normandy books--of outstanding quality and the content is remarkable. It does a fine job of cevering the more popular 82nd and 101st landings in the area but more importantly in my opinion, it covers the enormous sacrifice of the 8th, 12th and 22nd Infantry of the 4th Division as they reduced the Crisbeq (Germans called it Batterie Marcouf) and Azeville bunkers and fortifications on June 7th-9th. While the airborne units deserve great credit for their sacrifice, the 4th Division's attacks on these well-placed bunkers, gun emplacements and entrenchments often escapes notice becasue the very heavy fighting did not occur until June 7th.
I doubt you will find a better book that covers so much in only 169 pages. It is packed with photos, maps, diagrams and militaria displays. SteveComment
