I have been addicted to COD since it first came out. It's a sickness. I love United Offensive and not too privy with COD 4 yet since I enjoy WWII era weapons and maps. I'll take any of you guys on Carantan or Brecourt....bring it! Ha, ha...

) since I considered it to be the definitive WWII game. I said at first that I wouldn't buy Call of Duty 4, but I weakened and bought it when it was on sale for $35 after Christmas. It blew me away! The graphics, story, and gameplay are all stunning. I like how they put Cpt. Price's grandson (I assume) in CoD4.
This game will hold me over until Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway comes out, then we'll see how that is. Hopefully, a little bit better than Medal of Honor: Airborne.

got it for the pc
was rank 55 but my computer crashed so i had to start again
imo they ****ed up with the whole ranking system/unlocking weapons/perks making the game less fun to play

IMO a very nice game, only flaw is that the single player part is too short. I completed the game in 4½ hours

I think complete opposite. Ranking system and perks helps to keep this game interesting - for your accomplishments you are getting awarded... What is really nice with it, even as a private you can kill people. Guns / perks are very well balanced. IMO this makes game really better...Comment

I watched my buddy play this game and he had a blast and he talked to his friends at work about this game. I ended up getting a ps3 then saw the game and picked it up. I am very happy with it. I am a staff sargeant II in prestige mode with a almost equal number of deaths to kills. I think being able to change the skins of the weapons basing off head shots is a great idea. I had a red camo 50. cal sniper rifle that was quite a bit of work. I havent played any of the other games but have played a few of the battle field games and thought them to be enjoying.Comment

Too bad you guys don't have 360. It can't be mixed between platforms, so i can't play with you...I have PS3 as well but i don't like controller, so if i can i prefer to play games on 360...i hope some 3rd part company will make bigger ps3 controller so i can totally switch over to PS3...Comment

Well Guys i work for Activision and i tested the Game so you re talkin with somebody that had enough of this Game since July and i know every bit of it!
The only thing is that The PC is the real GAMES MACHINE and this is a Game that you enjoy it and play it better only with a mouse and a Keyboard!
