They are all kind of marching slowly, and then when both ranks are exactly perpendicular to the street, off they go with the goose step, in unison, at exactly the same point. Very impressive.

If anyone buys the DVD, make sure you get the Synapse version of the film. There are other earlier versions around--one by another company. There are even, of course, the inferior glitch-riddled bootleg copies you'll often find at many militaria shows, etc. Avoid everything but the Synapse version, since you'll likely pay as much for all the other inferior copies anyway.
Also, as others have mentioned, this DVD can be purchased from almost any online DVD website, I'm sure. I actually purchased mine from a large local bookstore.

I recentley bought this digitaly re-mastered (2005) version of Triumph des willens http://www.rzm.com/videos/bb0052.cfm . It´s a great DVD and it got the orginal sound with english subtitles that you can turn on and off. It also got a 17 min Riefenstahl short film "Day of freedom". I recommend it

How about enchanted, amazed, captivated or even transfixed ?
If you cannot appreciate the ground-breaking cinematography and innovative techniques that were used in the filming of "Triumph of the Will", a film that is almost universally recognised as pioneering then that is your problem.

For an interesting comparison you may want to watch the prior rally filmed by Riefenstahl "Sieg des Glaubens"(Victory of Faith). It's much more disorganized from an editing and organizational POV; AH's entourage was all over the place (vs the latter film where AH was basically the messianic focus of the film); and Leni was experimenting and developing her techniques for 1934. I believe it was pulled from circulation because it featured Roehm and he was 'purged' shortly after it's release.
There's also a 1927 Rally film called "Eine Symphonie des Kampfwillens". More a rolling footage of the events than a propaganda film.
