This unofficial trailer has been released a while ago and, indeed, it looks damn good. Flyboys...well, it started a new era in the air war movies but showed absolutely no story... It was nice to see some CG air combat scenes though.

The movie was supposed to be released on 14th February but its release has been postponed till April.

Let me guess, it is going to be postponed untill April 21st 2008?

I find all the airplanes seem to be moving much to fast; it looks more like a video game then real airplanes flying.

            JL,
reality is nothing you will find in any movie. Effects look nice, I am only affraid that the story will be super boring and that there will be not much more in terms of "action" than what we can see in the link....I think it's a german movie so I'd be surprised if there is a good story behind these "dramatic" scenes.

Probably some cra* like "Dresden"...which was a TV movie.

            Cheers

What about "der Untergang"? That had a story and "dramatic scenes". I've never seen a German movie that I didn't like.

                This, however, worries me:

"A meticulous reconstruction of the Baron's life and the historical setting was not uppermost in mind, that didn't interest me so much. It is more important to see what is relevant for people today. I saw no sense in making the film like a well-researched documentary. However, during my preparation on the film and looking into the story of his life, the man seems to be more like how I thought he should be."

I'll bet YES - it would be the 90th anniversary...
