Significant information on formation components is included. New biographical data for First Staff Officers, Divisional Commanders, and additional relevant personnel is revealed. Fresh facts are found for the Close Combat Clasp in Gold and Honor Clasp holders. For the collector and historian this new volume is a wealth of previously unpublished information on the Waffen-SS unit with the fifth highest number of Knight’s Cross awards, historically considered to be the best foreign division. Detailed appendix and addendum, 252 pages, 136 illustrations. Foreword by Untersturmführer a.D. Robert Rohr.

Books are printed outside the US so their holidays, etc + physical delivery with all the import checks post 9/11 are part of the publishing business. Volume 4 will be out this year also.

You know I am "in" for a copy as soon as they come out.
I have all your others in the series, as well as most of all your other titles.

I find these in your German Cross series fascinating reads as well as greatly informative as reference works.

For those of us to busy to research on our own, to late in the game to have made all the contacts/friends you have of these veterans or just do not have the "drive" to accomplish these works...thanks!

The SS/Polizei German Cross in Silver holders were all covered in one volume so volume 3 is actually the fourth book in the series.

with a lower page count than vols 1 and 2 I assume I assume vol. 3 will be a bit less, wasn't given a price as yet.

Vol. 4 page count goes back up to the 400+ range so assume that will be like the first two volumes.
