    Where is SPR and BoB filmed?

    Hello!

    Maybe you have already discussed this before on this forum but where is Saving Private Ryan filmed ? Can I go visit the places in the film somewhere ?

    And in Band of Brothers, where is the Bastogne episode filmed ?

    If i´m not misstaking the Bastogne episod was filmed in a large hangar somewhere in England

      i belive a lot of saving private ryan was filmed in england(probably the bit when it was raining).also fyi so was full metal jacket the fighting in the town was filmed on some then waste land in the london docklands area.quiet strange to see palm trees and vc writing on huge posters in london.

          I looked on the internet and found out that most of it was filmed in a 500 acre at Hatfield Aerodrome.

            The beach stuff in SPR was filmed in Southern Ireland.
