The only serious shortcoming in my view was the used of some obviously (and poorly) re-badged examples.

Can you give an example? (page no etc.)

I'm not doubting you, but as someone new to tunics (and hopefully soon to own one), it would be of use to me to be able to spot something like this.

Sure. At a minimum the examples on page 36 and 56 (believe the latter example is described as having replaced insignia) would give me pause. Perhaps minor faults though considering the scope of the book. Overall I am happy with the authors' work.

I bought the book today at a show even though I no longer collect Heer uniforms. I thought it was nicely done overall!
