    The Bunker

While reading the Spiegel i came across an interesting story about the last survivor, who is age 90 and about to publish a book. He still will not say who shot fegelein.
Also however, was this interesting digital view of the Bunker.
    Something for history buffs:

More conventional pose.............wearing all the nice medals he won chasing women and children through the Russian marshes on his big horsey.

Fegelein was detested by almost everyone he came into contact with.

A bully, poseur and all-round bounder and cad!

Thanks for the info about Fegelein. It sounded like a dog name to me

                        He was given the award.

I don't think he won it.

A lot of mutual back-scratching went on in the higher echelons of the SS anti-bandit formations.

Erich von dem Bach also got the KC...........and the APB in Silver. But did he ever see an angry man face-to-face? I doubt it.

Anti-bandit actions were not always carried out against armed troops.
