Good Morning - But The Nightmares Never End by Charlie Dukes. I don't know how well know this book is, but it is an excellant account of Charlie Dukes service in WWII in the 104th Timberwolf Division.
The story chronicles his service in Europe and capture by the Germans on Thanksgiving day 1944. He then served as a POW until liberated by the Russians. The story continues as he struggles to reach the American lines at the Elbe.
A riveting story - once I started the book I could not put it down until I finished reading it.
