Is the book the same size as Franks GAB book?

The Knight's Cross was a Nazi award..................

The swastika is a critical part of the design.................
                It shouldn't be 'hidden' away..............

Turn the cross over again..................the book will STILL SELL IN GERMANY !!!

I've had no problem with mine there.

                  Dietrich,
Robin has a good point. Here is the front cover of a book about the making of the movie "DOWNFALL". It clearly show the swastika on the cap eagle. I bought this in a bookshop in Mainz, Germany where it was displayed in the front window. I can't see why you can't do the same.

And if you can't show the swastika without getting arrested, at least ask Robert to consider making the cover knights cross bigger...

It is a very simple and extremely effective cover....we only make these suggestions because you are 'ours' and we wish you the best for your hard work!!

(Sorry...........I'm not much good with photo editing, but you get the drift! )

All the best with the book, Dietrich!

Thank you all for the input.

I wanted to have a very minimalistic front cover. For me, this shows the very simplicity of the order itself. Also, there are so many swastika's inside the book, that everybody will get a full load.

For me it is not about the swastika, it is about the details - which are more important and better to see on the reverse anyway.

Don't forget: this is just the removable dust cover. The book itself is bound in black cloth with 'silver' imprint. I went even more simplistic there because I (personally) don't like some of the high shiny Mickey Mouse covers...

The book is bigger than A5 (was just too small to show the details correctly). The size is 6.75" x 9.25"

                          Thanks again everybody! Really appreciated!

                          Dietrich

PS: it is Knigths Cross - not Knight's Cross IMHO

Sorry Dietrich, but it should be Knight's, with an apostrophe.

The little grammatical things are important with any book......especially on the cover.

The books will be around long after we are all dead..........and once they are in print, you can't change them. Ever.

                              So...............proof-reading is VERY important.

And under the removable dust cover.............hidden from those prying eyes..............you could have........................

I'm checking with my proof reader. I guess, Grodon Williamson was incorrect then?

The dust cover is done so everybody who wants to do so can paint one in - as you just did. For me, it is not important to show a swastika
