Has anyone noticed that in the closing scene of the '60s film 'The Dambusters', where Guy Gibson is reporting to Barnes Wallace on their casualties, the actor playing Gibson is wearing a B-1 early pattern Luftwaffe Schwimmveste?

that is true ,its because he had one from a german pilot that he had shot down and gibson said they were better than than the british issue there is a famous photo of gibson wearing it .
