Is the new reference book by Jeff Clark UNIFORMS OF THE NSDAP worth getting? Besides beautiful photographs which Schiffer Publishing is known for, is the text and period photographs worth the price?

Normandie--it is really a coffee-table book--not much text, but the Uniforms are fabulous, and the book also contains period photos.
I think most NSDAP collectors are "Form 4" (39-45) collectors, and the book is heavy with that era, but some earlier uniforms/hats are included as well.
I liked the book, and is a good counterpart to Cloth Insignia of the SA and NSDAP, so if you have the latter, you will be more than satisfied with the former.

Agreed, great photographs but relatively light on text. I like having it in my collection and there some rare items carefully photographed that are nice to see.Comment
