What was the title of this movie?

Ok this must have been around 1986 or 1987 when I was four or five, I remember seeing a third reich era movie. It had an officer with one arm and a eye patch. I do remember several scenes of this officer giving his young son his visor, bidding his family farewell. And I remember him getting the firing squad.

We didn't have cable at this new lake home we moved into so it was either FOX or CBS this was shown on.

I left out Staffenberg by accident.
I don't think it is that one, as it was earlier than 1990 when I saw it.

It may be the opening scene of "The Eagle Has Landed". If I recall correctly Walter Schellenberg was behind the plan to kill Churchill (as per the movie), with Michael Caine leading the German force; it fails and he (Schellenberg) gets executed.
