My friend Otto Spronk and his associate Wilhelm Saris is preparing a book about all aiguillettes of the Third Reich. They have found some 120 variations in color, knotting, striped, flecked etc. These aiguillettes and Adjudantenschnuren are an almost forgotten topic in modern references as well in contemporary. they are looking for photo's of these as loose items, on uniforms, as well as nice studio-photo's in wear. If used the photo's will be credited to your name. I have agreed to assist Otto in his quest and if you have good clear photographs send them to me at my email address and I in turn will send them on to Otto.
