    Knight's Cross book worthwhile?

Is anyone familiar with John Angolia's book On The Field of Honor - A History of the Knight's Cross Bearers?
Is this a worthwhile book for the EK collector?
What is the monetary value of the book?
    Any other comments?
    Thanks!

    Hi George

The books deal with Oakleaves winners & upwards to Rudel. So not concise for all KC winners.

Nice biographies, a good general referance.
I picked up a pair from ebay for $80 plus postage. Signed & numbered first 500 editions are worth more.

    Regards,

    Neil

For both volumes on Bibliofind they are $150 for the pair. Great photos and data.

          Hello
Volume 1 covers Grosskreuz, Golden Eichenlaub, Brillanten and Schwertern recipients. All recipients have a photo and a small bio notice describing their career. See the thread about Paepcke where a page has been scanned.
Volume 2 covers the first 441 OL recipients.
The following volume, although planned, were never published.
Data are sometimes outdated but the sery is still interesting.
For the price, I'd say the range goes from $100 to $150. Brians, you made a bargain with your set at $80.
          Regards
          Denis
