    Prussian Document book

I just purchased a new book published last year titled "Prussian Award Documents and Authorization Certificates, 1973-1972" by Dietmar Raksch. It is published by Detlev Niemann. I obtained my copy on ebay from Dave Hiorth at bilko-is@rogers.com for $45.00. The book is fantastic and well worth the money. It is over 400 pages and has German and English text. It details award document for the PLM, Red Eagle Order, service medals, EK, etc.

Yup, it was a real eye opener for an "1897-on" collector like me. We've got a rveiew thread buried in the back pages which a search on the author's name should bring up.

Some guy named Werner Nickel put in some of those docuents-- anybody ever hear of that guy?

      Well worth the $$!

For a Imperial Germany Awards Apprentice I devoured every page (well not literally)

More value for $45. that some $100.+ references

Let's hope they continue with all States Award Documents
