Another Not So New Pc Game

People may remember this game a few years back when it had another name and was going ot be made by codemasters i think,its called theatre of war now,and coming out hopeully this year,looks good from the screenshots,but some say not as good as before though.There is a similar game called officers but dont know if that ones out yet?.

I remember evaluating this game for the first time in 2001. I also played a recent version some months ago. Solid, but not very impressive anymore, both gameplay and graphics-wise. But I am jaded when it comes to PC games, others might still love this game.

Officers has no publisher yet and is not out yet. Should be finished by end of this year.

Thanks for that info Frank Heukemes,yes the game did look far better back then and that long ago,i only had internet use at home maybe in 2004,so did not know it was that old too.
So do you think this game or the officers would be better to get,i thought at first this one was,will have to wait and see when they come out i think.

Thanks Frank Heukemes i will wait and see when there in stores or if they are where i am?.I wish i could play call of duty online,but dont have a good speed on dial up or have the game too.

This one Looks good to me!Do u Buy soldiers and tanks or u have to play with the ones u start the game on this one?
The best tactical IMO i ve ever played was called Sudden strike one and two and i miss it and cant wait the 3rd to come out!
