film Die Abenteuer des Werner Holt

Hi All
who has seen this film Die Abenteuer des Werner Holt found it very interesting being a East german film made in 1964 has propaganda theme runing through it ,and the odd german soldier with a AK and also russians . but all in all a interesting film uniforms ect very interesting see pictures.

lol sorry i meant its a bit crap that they used fakes and postwar weapons and helmets with rivets on the front etc!

Just watched it tonight. Pretty good , not too much communist propaganda. Ending was just not believable.

Several original vehicles and weapons including a brief shot of a tiger tank. Covers many different aspects of service a teenager would have gone through.

Enjoyed the story, don't look to deep into technical details and remember it is communist East Germany.
