    SciFi channel - SS Doomtrooper

Just saw the promo for this. An Aryan "superweapon"/monster let loose on the WW2 battlefields.
Looks like fun! The Incredible Hulk meets Sepp Dietrich.
    Thanks,
    Eric Gaumann

It's nice to know that the caring and socially conscious producers of this piece of **** have employed the blind to make their "SS" uniforms!

This takes the cake as the ABSOLUTE WORST German uniforms I have ever seen in a movie! I believe the prop buget was $124 total...

I'm sorry I wasted my time watching this garbage!!! Lousey in every aspect, IMO. Thin plot, plot development non-existant, pitiful acting, pure crap!!! Charlie

... on the wrong breast, breast eagles and sleeve eagles together on some of the uniforms, army officer visor on a SS "NCO", black SS uniform worn in the field in 1944/45 with a party brassard - just sick - I realize theat they probably did not care at all about accuracy - it is, after all, the SciFi Channel, but the CGI was absolutely crappy as well - it looked like it was on par with Tron from 1979. Talking about throwing a piece of **** out there and hoping nobody notices...

                    BEST MOVIE EVER?????

Wow. Best acting and special effects I have seen since...umm......Slumber Party Massacre 2 maybe? My lifeforce is drained so badly from this that I may never recover.

My favorite was when they gave a Nazi salute they looked like they were waving to a baby or something.

                      SS Doomtrooper

                      Hello folks,
Well I stayed up until midnight and watched it as well. Was that movie an April fools joke? It is sad that the actor Ben Cross has to do junk like this. It is good to see Corin Nemec of Parker Lewis fame working, I guess they don't need him on ER. My question is this, what pattern of helmet was that SS Doomtrooper wearing? Was it one of those M-45's I have heard about, if so where can I get one? If you missed this film it is on again on Thursday, April 6, so get your Tivos ready!

I can't believe it, but that 2004 horror film The Bunker was actually better! You had to love that action packed scene in SS Doomtrooper where the 82nd AB para took out the SS panzer commander riding around in the T-34/85. Was that scene an attempt at an homage to Saving Private Ryan?

Anyways, please keeped me informed when SS Doomtrooper II comes out, so I can be gone that night!

If you want to watch a horror movie with a 3rd Reich theme, stick to the almost classic film Schockwaves (rather goofy but kinda cool) or the 1966 film the Frozen Dead. Please avoid at all costs the French film Zombie Lake, it will make SS Doomtrooper look good.
                      Regards,
                      Jody

Here is a still from the film the Frozen Dead (goofy but entertaining). Hey look a frozen Knights Cross, I wonder if it is a rounder? BTW, are those Reichsfuehrer collar tabs? I need to watch it again.

I assume they must hve rented the T34/85 on an hourly basis, as they didn't bother to cover up the Soviet-style numerals on the turret and simply slapped a couple of (probably magnetic) Balkankreuzes on the sides and front!

I guess no one noticed the French Resistance girl carrying the PPSH....and what about the "Brokeback Baker "scene when the French Resistance guy and the fake Southern/Brooklyn accented American guy where reminiscing(?) about what they did before the war.."my father was a baker....ooh la la so was mine...I'm gonna make bagles when I get out...Whats a bagle?...like a donut but not sweet......one word...."GAAAYYYY"....I stop watching this show after the Americans captured the ammo dump....and what about the awful German/English language that was spoken between the disguised American guy in the panzer uniform and the German ammo dump commander...this had to be the worse movie ever made...I could go on an on but I want to give someone else a chance....
