    What's the best K98 Book?

    What book is the best about the K98? Info on meanings of numbers and letters, etc... I recently got "Mauser Military Rifle Markings". But, this book just doesn't cover what I expected it to. Mainly I want more indepth, and to center around the German WWII Mausers and or from the allied nations and Russian captured. Any help would be appreciated.

    In my opinion "THE BACKBONE OF THE WEHRMACHT" by Richard D. Law. It tells you everything you wanted to know about the K98.

      I will second that. Not every book is perfect, but this one does a great job about the K98.

          Book

          As a key researcher on the book I highly recommend Backbone of the Wehrmacht. There is nothing even close.
