You should post your review on Amazon and write a review for WW@ magazine.
Unfortunetly, in my "career" I have run into more than a few "experts" who wrote a book like this-drawing on faulty secondary sources and the like who ended up perpetrating faulty history. The general public is then taught this "history" and makes dramatically flawed conclusions. Look at the way the Bible texts were transmitted for example.
Richard Weaver was right, Ideas Have Consequences.
We even see a bit of this in this arena of collecting, where novices still use examples from earlier reference guides as proof positive that items are original, even though the more experienced collectors know pictured items were fakes. Last year I saw a guy at a gun show holding up a EK2 to Angolias' 1st edition to compare sizes etc..
Thank God for the internet where information can be critiqued, discussed, debated and corrected- swiftly.
