    Narnia

Just took my daughter to see the Chronicles of Narnia. She loved it, and I enjoyed it. But man, the opening sceen during the Battle of Britain was AWESOME!!!

I have yet to see it, but I plan to. I remember reading the series as a kid, and I vividly remember that the words dissappeared from the pages; being replaced by colorful images that made the imagination run wild. Extremely well-written, and a truly timeless story.

Ya I had no idea that was the time frame of the movie. I saw the front of the plane and blurted out what type of plane it was and got a " ssssssshhhhhhhh" from everyone I was with.

        Narnia and the Heinkels

        Interestingly enough,
Lampost Production's (the production company behind Narnia) Property Master bought all authentic "pre-1941" (specifically requested pre-1941) Luftwaffe flight suits and gear last year from Bill Shea and The Ruptured Duck. It had to be shipped to New Zealand.
Bill may one day post the Thank You letter (in lieu of a screen credit) on the website.

That's very interesting-I bought the flight gear off the props department in May 2005,after they recieved some free advice 10 months previously about where they could pick up suitable quantities of LW aircrew kit.Included in my purchase-2 fliegerkopfhauber(Winter) with full electronics,2 S-maske 1067-B with hose and alligator clips.1xFallschirm 30-1 aircrew parachute with harness,2 RZ20 parachutes-both marked for Ju52 and He111 on the parachute deployment bag,Parachute carry bags and a transit case, 1xschwimmweste Fl 30154 and a Kapokschwimmweste plus a couple of KM schwimmweste.Sadly,I wasn't able to purchase the He111/ Casa 111 cockpit section or the aircrew suits.
