    NOVA special on the HYDRO

    Just watched the NOVA special on the HYDRO, the Norwiegian ferry carrying heavy water for German nuclear experiments that was sunk by the Norweigan resistance.

    They use a ROV to explore the wreck and recover a barrel to see if it really held heavy water. Also interview survivors of the sinking and the saboteurs. Definately worth the time if you catch it.

    I saw it too. It was a very entertaining and informative special. Interesting to note the conclusion that the Germans really had little interest in developing atomic weapons as they felt the war would be over before they would be able to create one.
