Help: Need some book suggestions on POWs

    Hello Everyone,

I am writing a paper for university and I am hoping that some of you can recommend books dealing with the experiences of Germans taken POW by the Russians.

Either general histories or individual accounts are welcomed!

If you have any books you feel are worth recommending please let me know the title and as much other bibliographical information as possible (author, date published, publisher, etc, etc) this will help me to locate copies...THANKS!

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Cheers,

    Adam

PS. Time is somewhat of the essence, so quick replies are especially appreciated

A really good first person read. Very vivid and lots of detail. Covers on his capture, treatment, and eventual release by the Russians. I think this will be of great help to your paper.

        Adam,

How's the paper going? You get a chance to take a look at Von Luck's book?
