    Hogan's Heroes season 2 DVD

    As I was looking around the net for dvd's tonight I found that the second season of Hogan's Heroes will be released Sept 27th, 2005.

    It isn't everybodies 'cup of tea', but I just loved the show as a kid and still do; in fact I blame that show for my collecting habit more than any other single factor.

    I doubt very much that a show like this could ever be made in the PC world of today.

      I always wondered if it would be possible in this PC culture we live in to make a Hogan's Heroes movie? They have remade about every other 60's show into a movie.

        I don't understand about the PC bit - it was a great series that showed the Germans to be incompetent buffoons who were made the fool of every episode ?? What difference would the scriptwriters have to adjust to to keep the PC crowd happy....

        What - would they make Sgt Shultz not so fat, give Col Klink hair folicles...make the SS guys more lovable ......what ??

        I cant imagine potestors on the red carpet going "oh this movie portrays the poor Germans in a bad light & should be banned"
