SS Uniforms, Insignia, & Accoutrements book

    Hello all,
I just picked up a copy of the book, SS Uniforms, Insignia, & Accoutrements: A Study In Photographs, compiled by A. Hayes and published by Schiffer. Looks to be a good book with a lot of nice photographs. I wish the section on medals would have been larger though. I noticed that a fake F&B.L Bronze Close Combat Clasp slipped it's way into the book on page #191. I also do not like the clasps pictured on page #192. On the CCC in Gold, it looks like a center punch was used to crimp the backing plate in place. The CCC in Silver doesn't look quite right to me either. Any opinions?

    Hi Tom,
I believe both the silver and gold are OK, I don't see what you mean on the gold one. The silver looks good for the AGMuK maker, the spot welds look right. What else catches your eye?
