    What the hell is going on with the Morons selling or ''Trying to sell'' The party badge by jo Rivett asking ludicris and Bloody STUPID Prices for this book !!!!
    Its a Total and utter Disgrace and shines forth the total greedy captilist idiots

    I See a listing on abe books for 1000USD for this Book !!!!
    Amazon has listings for 600USD and upwards !!!!!
    I want a copy of this Book but Theres no way in Hell I will EVER pay money to Assholes and loony tunes who try to sell a book for this much .
    Even the publisher is trying to Get 285 USD for this book I find this down right Disgusting

    I would say it is a realistic price.

      I hardly do buy books, while often the prices are much too high. 280$ is not a reasonable price. Half would be better, frankly said!
      I have Jo's book with a special dedication from Jo, signed September 30, 2013. Have no idea what will happen with it, when I am gone and "out-of-business"?

        What the hell is going on? I tell you what is going on!

        Books like that, which cover a very small area of the hobby, don’t have a high print run and therefore the initial price will be fairly high (115.- when it came out in 2013). There are two groups initially: the one group buys the book and enjoys the information and the other group is complaining about the price and don’t buy the book. Happened not only with this title, though.

        Once it is sold out, the price raises. Happens with every commodity. There is only one remedy: if you are interested in a topic and a book you like comes out, buy it. Don’t think it will be cheaper in the future. Might happen, but normally not.

        Sure, it happens that one enters the hobby later and had no chance to buy the book initially. That is tough and happened to all of us book lovers. You either bite the bullet or you don’t.

        Now to your personal attack on me, calling me a moron. Contrary to you, I recognize a moron when I read his complaints. You need to empty your cache, the book is long gone on my site. Apart from that, I can sell at any price I want, but I don’t. And it is none of your business anyway! I agree that $1,000.- is too much, my last price certainly was not, proven by me being sold out!

        I take your invitation to create a pdf as a near criminal act and believe me, you don’t want me and Jo coming after you, especially not Jo! The world is a village!

        Calm down and refrain from stupid posts in the future or bear the consequence. The Party Badge book you will not obtain in this fashion, that is for sure!

              I realized what type of poster you are when I found out that the remark regarding my publishing company had its origin when you checked in 2016. So you waited four years to post the above?
              Son, this is not the way to fight the assumed “creed and corruption!” One eruption every four years will not do it!

              PS: You should have bought four years ago and sell now for $600.- That would have been clever!

                  No, there will be no reprint. It makes no sense, the demand, while still out there, is far lower than the minimum print run to make it economically feasible.

                      Tomega, you just can't afford this book, and like a small child, you cry and whine that it is some greedy person's fault. I promise you that if you had two copies of Jo's book you would not sell me one for $175. I understand you are frustrated but your reaction I juvenile!

                        2. Mike Tucker, your Combat Badge book rocks and I have two copies. If I were smart I would sell the one that is trashed from being carried around the world and heavily used. Sadly I am not smart enough to sell it but I bet it has greatly appreciated in value!!!
