I’d also like to know if it’s worth getting.

I’m quite up to speed on cloth skulls but desperately need educating on metal skull insignia.

If you collect or are interested in ss cap insignia, it’s a worthwhile book. Covers skulls, eagles, and skull buttons, and shows all known makers and variants front/back. Does not cover early style insignia.
Overall nicely made as well, cost 45 euro + 9 for post from vendor listed above, received it in the states in less than 2 weeks.
The author is Russian, he lists quite a few websites as references but not WAF(!).

I too thought it a worth while investment and found it on Ebay. I had never heard of a Big 52 skull or that ES PF eagles have double split pins. Little things like that can save costly mistakes. Worth the $50 or so just to look at the photos. Author calls some markings fantasy that I believe are possible period but he is not trying to sell anything other than a decent reference book.

I ordered a copy from eBay. Are there any fakes that are labeled as originals?
                    Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.
