This is by far my favorite scale to build Dioramas for. 1/72nd scale is truely my favorite, however the shaking in my hands will not allow me to paint my own *Models* but Dioramas with Glue I can do . This is the 1/72 Scale pre painted Cyber Hobby Exclusive Michael Whittman Tiger Ace model that came prepainted. The Diorama I made and Painted, but I think even though it is premade model the overall effect is nice...

Excuse me, Shane, but I think I have a similar problem called "Temblor Heredofamiliar" (Hereditary Hand Shaking...Could it be the translation?) but with a little practice and a Paintbrush I am able to paint my own models in 1:72.
You should try it ,although the first models done can be discouraging with a little effort you can get acceptable results...And is far more enjoyable.
Excuse the quality of pictures and of my English

FJCM,
I am not sure what it is, but when I concentrate on my hands they shake uncontrollably. I have tried and you are right it is very frustrating. By the time I manage to get the glue on whatever it is I am gluing it is often harder to install and then I have to get the two tiny parts together. very frustrating. It only happens when I am looking at my hands or when they are in mid air. When at rest they are fine. Is this similar to your symptoms?
Nice model by the way, there may be hope for me yet...

On the other side it won´t get worse along the years,It is not Parkinson.
Ask your doctor ,there are drugs that can help you: "Beta Blockers".I chose not to use them because I am used to work without them and I don´t like the associated side effects that they have.
I´m a Nurse and I have to do VERY delicated techniques and I can without any problem.I must say that Modelling has been very useful to me as many of the tricks I have developed along the years to avoid hand shaking can be used at work (Not to speak about stress )
It´s a matter of trial and error, you have to waste MANY models until you can build a half-decent one...Use slow curing glues (gel Cyano) and use your table as a support for your wrists (I have a very high table and a very low chair so that I can work with mi hands nearly in front of my face), work mainly with your fingers, avoid working with your hands in mid air if you can and whenever your hands get out of control (You know what I mean) thake a deep breath and stop doing whatever you´re doing until your hands are steady again...
In the end "Who dares, wins", start Modelling and develope your own tricks, enjoy and if the model isn´t as good as you expected trow it into the garbage bin and start another.IT IS JUST A HOBBY
