    Dragon Panzer 1a

I bought this Dragon kit around 20 years ago and finally worked up the resolve to build it. As usual with this company, they over-engineer components and make the assembly process tedious. The tiny individual track links occupied almost two days.

Markings are by Bison, now called Star Decals, and depict a tank of the Spanish Foreign Legion, around 1937.

It's positively diminutive when placed beside a Tiger.

      Mike,
That's not a configuration often seen. Well done.

                Thanks, Jacques.

The camo is that used by the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht until mid-1937 when replaced by a grey and brown combination.

                Regards, Mike

Great job Mike. The extra time and patience that you've put into assembling the tracks has certainly paid dividends, they look awesome. And the paint job and weathering, wow. I always found it amusing that they painted their pre WW 2 vehicles and equipment in three tone, then switched to panzer grey and back to three tone during the latter half of the war. Anyway, keep at er.
