New Pickup Truck For The Wife

My wife always wanted an old green farm truck. So this Christmas, I found her one I customized a bit.

This will have to do until an affordable, full-size example comes along

Farmed my entire life and never had anything near that nice on the farm.

Agreed - it's actually much too custom for my wife's taste, but I got the color right (we live in sight of a farm, but not on one). But at 1/24 scale, why not add a little bling?

This die-cast truck came with stock wheels I replaced with 5-spoke mags I had from another kit. The result lowered the truck about 6 scale inches. I also added chrome exhaust and painted the bed for a custom wood & chrome channel install.

It was a fun little project.

I've done a couple diecast and old tin toy customs also.
