Airfix 1/48 Defiant

Just completed this commission project for my regular customer, Airfix's excellent 1/48 Boulton Paul Defiant.

Kit decals were substituted by a set by Xtradecal, 3-stack exhausts replaced by resin 6-stack and gun barrels replaced by brass items.

Fantastic. I've always liked the Defiant despite its less than spectacular service history!

Thanks for the kind comments and photos. My reference book contained views of the same aircraft.

I'm currently working on a 264 Squadron Defiant as it appeared during the Dunkirk evacuation.
