    My last 2 projects

    Hi all,

I've just finish off my last 2 models, first one to be finished was the 1/16 RC M4 Sherman by Tamiya, and the second one, that I just finish last week a 1/24 US Thunderbolt P-47D by Kinetic, with this model I use the new product from Vallejo called Metal Colors, and I can say working with this product was smell free, and it dried in 5 minutes, and I say I was happy with the finish.

Your figures are great. I suck at painting figures.

Thanks guys, adlerfan53, I do paint 1/16 scales figures, but not as good as the ones in my image, as you I am in my later years, and my hands are not to stead anymore, and my eyes! I purchase those figures already painted, so I can't accept the praise

Very nice Lou. Love the dirt/ mud on the Sherman's wheels too.

                Lou,

                Nice work.

I'm planning to try the Vallejo metal colours at some stage. What did you use as thinner and did you encounter any problems?

                  Again thanks guys,

Mike the Metal Colour product is Acrylic based, I am sure I didn't need to add any Acrylic thinner to it, if I did it was very little, for some reason I just can't remember, but I know it was easy to work with. But you need to purchase their black primmer that comes in this new Metal colour range. Mike as I mentioned its smell free, and dries pretty fast, and I didn't encounter any problems at all, and for me the end result on the Thunder bolt P-47D turn out great.
