I have the pleasure to present you my model (scale : 1/32) of the Bf 109 E-1 of Oblt. Georg Schneider, "Staffelkapitän" of the 3./JG 21 in june 1940., on the basis of probable assumptions (no picture left of this plane).
Schneider was killed in aerial combat on June 27, 1940 in the Netherlands, near Soesterberg, during an engagement against a british Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV (RAF 82 Squadron - Watton/Norfolk), his last fight which, paradoxically, was also his 7th aerial victory since September 1939.
For those who might be interested by the history of the pilot or his unit, you can read more (but in french !!) on my modeller blog : http://icaruswings.unblog.fr/categor...-icarus-wings/.
