Amazing model. Is the prop wood laminate, or did you paint it to look that way? If you painted it, what's your secret?

I have a full-size, 1930s wood propeller in my office that doesn't look as good as the one on your model!

this one was made by me more or less the same way they did it....glued different stripes of wood and then carved it to resemble an Heine ,using the model plastic one as a reference
