    1/9 NSU Kettenkrad by Revell

    Hi Guy's,

Just finish off my 1/9 scale NSU Kettenkrad. It's had a hard life during the winter/spring months, nice, and dirty, plus off course the mud!

I am still learning the weathering side of things, so I haven't mastered the skills, that some of our top modelers have on the Forum, but I am working on it, as I have a number of models waiting to be built as yet

That's a very nice, muddy vehicle. I wasn't aware that Revell produced such a model.

            Thanks guys for your'e comments.

Mike I had to do some google searching for it, as the model is no longer available from Revell, the only other company that were making a 1/6 version was Dragon, but again many of the 1/6 models from Dragon are not being produce by them at the moment, but I managed to pick up their 1/6 Panzer ll model, and looking forward to built it.

Lou, I like your model, I have myself one unfinished at the workdesk.

One comment: I think the helmets are a little out of place - the color is exactly the same as the vehicle, and maybe you should work a little on that. I would paint the helmet a little darker color, so they would stand out - it is just to look at some of the helmets in the forum.

                  Otherwise, keep it up.!!..

I remember that one from my childhood - there was also a matching standing soldier.

Thanks again guy's with your'e comments. Hans I decided to paint the helmets that colour due to it being in the Tropical area of the War. The other bits like the shinny seats, and the number plate have now been dulled down.

I've jus finished my 1/6 Schiwwmwagen by Dragon, I did a part scratch build as Dragon did leave certain features out. I just have to do some finishing bits, and I will post it up soon.
