    Overview

Here you can see how large this thing really is: 1,70 meter!

I'd had to make this photo really quick, before the little man could get his hands on the Uboot....

            Flak

            Hi Nelly,

you mean the flak on the conning tower? On this type (VII-A) there were only two flaks, on the front and the rear.

            Best,

            Jeroen

I have the exact same one sitting in storrage waiting to be built. Did you get the engine conversion kit? Do you subscribe to teh sub comittee?

Very nice looking. I have been lazy about building mine for some time now and should put her together shortly I hope. Maybe this summer if I am lucky. What did you use to cut out the holes?

                  Dear Shane,

sorry for the late reply. I used a fretsaw to saw out the parts. lots of work...
I have had a lot of help on this website: marinerc.com. But apparently this site doesn't work any more. I have printed out all photo's and guidelines though. If you'd like I can scan them for you and email them. There are surely some good tips you can use.

                              Uboot RC

                              Hi Simon, Shane and others,

Sorry for the delay, but it's very bussy at work and hadn't had time to make photo's.

I will post some of the RC equipment inside the Uboot.

Picture 1: motors or engine room! The motors are to heavy for the boot for realistic movement. But I like it when you have more speed than necessary!
