    Custom 1/18 BF109G2/trop III/JG77 Tunisia

    Here's some finished pics of this repainted BBI 1/18 BF109. It's almost finished. I say almost, because I just noticed I forgot the red dash marks, on the inboard part of the wing.

    The customer wanted it to look like this:


    I matched the colors exactly and weathered it.
    The photos are a little bit dark.
    The outdoor shot at the bottom shows how it looks in person.

    I didn't use any decals for this plane. I will give a tutorial on how I painted the balkenkruez - it's very easy and relatively fast.

                Did your client have photographic proof of the scheme or was he following the profile in the Breffort & Joineau Histoire & Collections Me (sic) 109 Vol II on page 40 ?

                    He actually found a model wearing this scheme. I have seen similar schemes before, just not evidence on this particular plane.

                    Could you post a pic maybe of that page?
