SS Aufklarungs Meet in Eifel
October 1944


A Sturmbahnfuhrer, Recon Regiment commander gets some first-hand reports from members of First and Second SS Recon detachments in the Eifel area.
The units and divisions are only a shadow of what they once were after the losses in Normandy. In Eifel they regroup and hold the line. In a couple of months they will be fully refitted and on the attack once again in the Ardennes.































In the dio I used from the motorpool, two repainted TUS motorcycles, Plasticpanzer w/ ToySurgeon turret 234/1, Mardon Callanta 251D, DML Schwimm and Mardon Callanta 250/9. As I rolled the 250/9 from the storage shelf, the track rolled and ended upaway from the wheels. This vehicle will get an upgrade soon.
The table is from one of the DML radio sets as are the foldable seats.

Note: Here a post of the 234/1 and its crew. I later found eference of 234/1 used in Normandy, but a the time of this dio I thought non had arrived to the Normandy front, so I made this crew and group for a later time frame.
