    Another Bismarck -Yawn!

Ok, another Bismarck, sorry! I had this 1/400 kit laying around so I thought I'd turn it into an RC model. It has 2 motors with their own speed controllers and a mixer so that when the rudders turn, the motor on the inside of the turn slows down or even goes into reverse. This turns the ship nearly on it's own axis.

Kit wasn't the best quality, none of the parts fitted so every single one had to be sanded or modified to fit. Painting the deck was very frustrating as well, must have re-done it about 4 times. Next time I'm definitely going for a wooden deck model.

I'm pretty happy though, total cost was only about £30 including all the radio gear.

Very nice and thanks for posting. Have you checked to see if your ship is sea worthy???

Well, she's bath water tested but has yet to go on sea trails!

Well...if you take your model on any sea trials...make sure to post some photos of the maiden voyage...
