    1/6th Dragon figure help needed

I just bought "Heinz" the Wiking Division Hungary 1945 SS figure. It appears the idiot that assembled my figure gave him two right boots instead of a right and left. Since this is my first figure, are they all like this? How does one correct this?
I am going to try my hand at weathering, and a small diorama with this guy. Where do you guys get your superb aftermarket stuff or do I have to scratchbuild what I want?
Everyone has to start somewhere and I am afraid I am at square one when it comes to these figures. Any help you experts can give would be most appreciated!
    best wishes,
    jeff

you can get boots at The Toy Slodier Brigade http://www.toysoldierbrigade.com/ or JP Hobbies http://www.j-p-hobbies.com/ just to name a couple. I have dealt with both and highly recomend them. Prices are excellent and shipping is great. They charge a basic 10$ for shipping but I have always received a refund of the excess shipping charges.

If you can afford it, I recommend Newline's boots- http://newlineminiatures.com/

They're about 6 times more expensive than loose Dragon boots, but are worth every penny.

And Heinz's uniform is pretty nice once it's been weathered and reworked a little, the NLM jackboots look good with it.

I agree the new line is the best, and it gives a lote more realism to your figure, the problem is that I have not seen the short anckel boots for a while. Almost a year and a half, you can finf the jack boots without problem, but the oher I think will be a little hard to come by as I uderstand they sopped producing them for a while

                    Jeff,

drop me a line mate. My 1/6th scale action collection reached about 300 figures at one stage. Sold most of it off and have the top customs figs and equipment left. I'll dig out some stuff for you. Send me a list of what your looking for ok.

                    Cheers
                    Mark

Gary- I guess it is good to know that I am not the only guy with bad luck on the feet! Sorry to hear about your figure being screwed up as well!
